How Teens Can Make Money Online: Is Treasure Trooper a Scam?

For those of you that don't know, Treasure Trooper is another online survey money maker. I joined the website about 6 months ago and have made myself $872.42 in that time. I complete surveys, fill out offers and refer other members. But is it a scam or not? Lets find out!

How to Sign Up
When you get to the Treasure Trooper homepage you will be asked to fill out some personal information pertaining to where your check will be sent to. Don't worry they do not ask for any credit card information and there is even a Paypal option for payments.

After you sign up your account will be credited with a $1 sign-up bonus. Not too shabby!

Next Steps

After you sign-up you will be at your homepage where you will have an option to make money via a variety of ways. You can click on cash surveys, cash tasks, cash search, cash videos, or trading court where you will have the ability to trade gems and coins you collect for cash and gift card prizes. Examples of prizes include an Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Ipod Nano, $50 Visa Gift Card or a $50 Amazon Gift Card. All very appealing options for a teen or college student who loves playing the newest video games.

Does Treasure Trooper Cost Money?
Absolutely not! Yes you can use your credit card to fill out offers for larger sums of money, but that is not needed at all. There are thousands of dollars worth of free offers that you can complete without the use of a credit card. Treasure Trooper has paid out nearly 7 MILLION dollars to its users since they began operation and there is no reason that you can't collect a couple hundred dollars or more from them each month.

$300 Bonus
One of my favorite thinks about Treasure Trooper is that you receive a $300 bonus once you achieve 300 referrals. It is quite easy to get that many referrals and if you have an effective blog, then you can get that bonus in a months time. Along with all of the money you will make off your referrals ($1 per active referral you get and 20% of their earnings) you will also get the bonus which is something that other survey sites don't offer. The minimum cashout is $20 which is pretty standard, but not only can you get your money via check or paypal, but also other crazy options that Treasure Trooper offers like gems or raffle tickets you can use to win larger prizes.

Overall
Treasure Trooper is a great way for teens to make money online and not a scam. It is by no means a get rich scheme but if you have a positive work ethic and utilize my referral method then you can easily find yourself making over minimum wage with little work. Overall, I would give it a 8.5/10 and definitely think you should check it out now!

CashCrate Remains the Best Way For Teens to Make Money Online

Making money online as a teens continues to be a difficult topic in today's in internet age, however if you know what to look for then you can make your self some serious, residual money. CashCrate remains to be my number one earner month after month, and as this point I can pretty much expect deposits of a couple hundred bucks, multiple times a week, into my bank account. How Teens Make Money Online: Is Mechanical Turk a Scam?

I have been seeing a lot of posts about Amazon Mechanical Turk in the past few months, so I thought that I would finally address it in one of my blog posts. Can teens make money with it, or is it a scam?

What is Amazon Mechanical Turk?

Mechanical Turk is a service offered by Amazon that allows users to complete small tasks (HITs) for small payments. These HITs stand for Human Intelligence Tasks and were founded by Amazon on the basis that humans can perform some tasks better than computers. For example, you may describe an image and receive $0.25. This may seem small but completing these mundane tasks can add up and you can find yourself easily making $10 an hour.

Is Mechanical Turk a Spam?

Mechanical Turk has been around since 2005 and is a part of a publicly traded company in the Nasdaq stock exchange. It has paid out millions of dollars to its users, however it has been noted that there are some companies with unethical business practices that use Mechanical Turk users for shoddy pay.

How can you avoid these Scammers

• Stay away from HITs that ask for your personal details such as your name, address, credit card details or your SSN.
• There are internet forums available that discuss MT scams and which are too good to be true. These forums are Turker Nation and MTurk Forum along with a few others.
• Avoid HITs that offer really high pay for virtually none of your time. These are usually scams and if people could make $10 for 5 minutes I think that everyone would be using MT.
• Do they pay you in time? Sometimes these unethical practices include companies rejecting your work on the grounds that it is "inadequate."

Pros

• A lot of different kind of work is offered.
• Payments are easy and only a $10 minimum needs to be met.
• Can make a decent amount of money with some patience.

Cons

• Can often get boring.
• A lot of low paying assignments.
• Can take some time to learn what earns you the most money.

Overall Impression

Mechanical Turk is a great way to make extra money for yourself, however making a full time income is near impossible. There are some reports of users making up to $500 a week but you would find yourself working some crazy hours with those amount of profits. If you find yourself in need of some extra spending money, Mechanical Turk is a great way to make yourself some extra cash. It is important to read the directions carefully on all HITs otherwise you run yourself the possibility of not getting paid in full. Also, the better the work you do, the better the HITs are for you. Is Cashcrate a scam?

Lately I have been hearing a lot of people online calling the website Cashcrate a scam. And no matter how hard I try to convince them otherwise they still seem to think that it is a waste of time. Waste of time? I have been making money like this each and every month over the past 2 years....

One of the main reasons that people think that CashCrate is a scam is that for some reason people think that they are just giving out money for free. Trust me, the money they give out isn't free, you are working for it just like any other job. Nothing in life is free and I love the people that think surveys sites just give out "free money".

The direct deposit statement I posted above is money straight from CashCrate that goes directly into my bank account every week. Now that money certainly isn't "free" and I had to work pretty hard to get that kind of money. Now in order to get started you need to create a unique blog/website like I have stated so many times in previous posts. As a teen I know it can seem pretty intimidating to go out and purchase your own url, but don't worry. There are many free blogging platforms that are extremely easy to set up and use. Make sure that your blog is unique and has well written content. There are thousands of websites out there promoting CashCrate so you have to make sure that yours sticks out from the crowd.

All in all, Cashcrate certainly is not a scam. It is a real company that has real members like me. They have paid out over 4 million dollars since they started back in 2006. I have received thousands of real dollars from them over the past 2 years. Now 99% of you reading this will probably sign up, maybe complete an offer and call it quits. Be that 1%!!! If you actually read the previous content I have written and stick to my advice you will be well on your way to earning money online as a teen.

Teens Use SwagBucks To Make Money Online

Hey everyone,

Christmas is fast approaching us all and as a teen I know how difficult it can be to afford presents for all of your loved ones. Putting together enough cash to afford some nice presents can be tough and usually forces you to return cans, or hunt for loose change throughout your house. Instead of doing that why don't you play games and search for things on a search engine for money? Sounds cool right?

I recently came across a survey site called SwagBucks. Now if there was a king of survey sites, SwagBucks would be it. As of November 2011 it was one of the top 100 websites visited annually in the United States. With over 4 million members it boasts an amazing reputation and definitely caught my eye. I went straight ahead and signed up for it. Wow am I glad I did. Swagbucks isn't just a survey site, it is a search engine, you can watch videos, play games, trade in old electronics, and more, all for points called Swagbucks. But, by far the coolest feature I found on the site was that you could earn money by simply searching. Instead of using google, I use the SwagBucks search engine and have earned about $40.....by searching for everyday things, its basically free money.

With these Swagbucks you can trade them in for a wide variety of prizes, including everything from GPS systems to memorabilia to gift cards to actual cash via PayPal.

Overall, I really have enjoyed my experience with SwagBucks thus far. I already earned a $50 Amazon gift card and am well on my way towards another one. It is definitely going to help me during the holiday season this year and I am glad I found out about it. I suggest you at least check it out, you won't be disappointed.

As mentioned in recent posts, teens often cannot make money online because they are so darn lazy and give up 99% percent of the time after not making a lot of money. But, what about that 1%? What happens to them? They write good content on their blog, get anchored backlinks by writing articles, hubpages, and submitting their blogs to web directories. Things that don't take a lot of time, but become very tedious work.

Like most of you I quit CashCrate after I wanted to make more money. But, as I look back at the experience I laugh, because CashCrate is one of, if not the best way to make money online as a teen. Fusion Cash may seem like a great site for referring other members and making a lot of money and thats because it is. Just not as great as CashCrate. You see, Fusion Cash offers you a $2 comission for every user, but they don't offer you a percentage of what your referrals make. Cashcrate is the best, because they offer you the $1.00 bonus for every active referral (once you reach a certain level) plus a commision of all the earnings your referrals make. This places them in an elite class of gpt sites.

There is also a fantastic forum at CashCrate, and the people there will be helpful with all questions you might have. Additionally, there is a good video tutorial as well as written tutorials to help you start making some money once you sign up. Anyone who wants a real way to get started making money online that is not a scam might want to think about checking out the forum.

CashCrate is perfect for teens who want to start earning money online, because you only have to be 13 years old to join. I know many teens who make well over the minimum $20 payout each month (including myself). So just because you are young does not mean that you can't make a lot of money online.

Overall, a teen can make a lot of money by taking paid online surveys. They are a great way to earn some extra cash and it is fairly easy to earn a lot of money by taking them. They are also one of the few legit ways that teens can make money online in this day and age.

If you have been reading my posts you may have noticed that I always refer to CashCrate when talking about paid online survey sites. There are many reasons for that and I will briefly explain why it is such a great way for teens to make money online.

Do you think that any other program on the internet has this feature? hahaha no. You are able to receive your payments from cashcrate in the form of check or direct deposit. Paypal is not available because of fraud in the past which is a bummer.

All in all if you are looking for a way to make money online then CashCrate is by far my number one choice.
