Being a teen in 2015 can be a daunting task. With rising prices and a weak job market it can be hard for a teen to make themselves any sort of income. However, there are many more opportunities available to teenagers in the present day compared with in the past. The internet has opened has opened a wide range of opportunities for teens to make money online. A teen who is willing to work hard can make much more money online than in other employment opportunities available to teenagers like working a cash register at McDonalds. Below is a list of 10 of the best proven ways for teens and college students to begin making money online. While the list is intended for teens it can be used by anyone from stay at home moms to adults looking for a side income.
1.) BloggingStarting a blog remains to be the best way for teens to make a passive income online in 2015. It isn’t
a get rich method by any means but if you stick to it you will find yourself making some decent money. Websites like Blogger and Wordpress provide free blogging platforms, or you can buy your own custom URL and hosting. You can then make money with the blog via Google Adsense, by selling a product, affiliate sales and other ways! 4.) Sell Stuff on Ebay
Ebay has been an exceptional way to make money online for years and continues to be so in 2015. While one of the most common ways to make money with Ebay is to sell your old gadgets, a proven new way is to become a re-seller. 5.) Affiliate Marketing
With little to no blogging or affiliate knowledge, you can easily find yourself making a lot of money with affiliate programs like ClickBank. These programs allow you to promote and sell other peoples products and receive a commission as a result.

6.) Create Micro-Niche Websites
In the last half year I have discovered the amazing earning potential of micro niche websites. A MNS is a website that has a few articles on it on a keyword that gets a relatively small amount of search engine searches each month. The goal is to create a small blog with the keyword as the domain name, and then rank that website 1st on Google for its keyword. 7.) Use Fiverr
Fiverr is a website that allows people to earn $5 for each “gig” that they perform. A gig can be something like creating a logo or even drawing someone as a cartoon. If you are able to do something that people are willing to pay you for, then it is a great way to earn some extra money online as a teen.
8.) Mechanical Turk
Mechanical Turk is a service provided by Amazon that pays you to complete simple tasks in exchange for a small payment. For example, you may describe an image in 1 sentence for $0.08. This may seem small, but you can find yourself making $10+ an hour if you stick to it. I found a great guide on Reddit that I have listed below that really helps you make the most bang for your buck.
9.) Create a Youtube Channel
Do you have a special skill or do your friends think that you’re really funny? Start a YouTube channel! With a basic video camera and video editing software you can set up a channel and attract subscribers and views if you produce good content. Full time YouTubers make over $100K a year off of ad revenue, so it is definitely plausible to make yourself at least an extra $1,000 a month if you create quality videos in your spare time.

The summer going into my senior year of high school I was without work and didn’t really know
what to do with my spare time. I went to Craigslist and was able to find a part time job as a call center representative for a local business. I was able to sit at home and answer phone calls part-time while making decent money. There are also tons of other jobs like landscaping and painting that teens can take advantage of to make some extra money.
