Make Money Online - How to Avoid Scams

Being a college student myself making money online, I know how some stories of people claiming to make "$4,000 a WEEK!" are just too good to be true. Unless you are an established blogger with years of experience, or running an online scam, no one can make that much money online. When you first start off on your internet marketing journey, it is important to keep a few things in mind in order to avoid scams. I have put together a short list that you can reference in order to keep yourself safe!

Don't Send Money to Someone You Don't Know
Have you ever gotten those emails from a "Nigerian Prince" claiming that you are the rightful owner of a large sum of money? All they need from you is your bank account information and social security number. I think at one point or another everyone has gotten this email, and I can guarantee that no one has ever gotten any money out of the deal. In fact people can lose all their savings by giving out their information to a stranger. Same goes for sending money to someone you don't know. Unless you are using a reputable service like Ebay, Fiverr, or Paypal, do NOT send money to someone you don't know if you haven't done any research on that person or service. A good way to get a review on somebody is to simply Google that person or service + "review","scam", etc. This will likely turn up some information on whether the person is legit or not.

Check if an Email Address is Real or Not
Reputable companies and services will not email you asking your for personal information like your social security number or bank information. While an email may look like it is from a legit company in your mailbox, it is smart to click "show details" which will show the actual senders email. If Google or a similar company is actually emailing you, then the email will not come from "Sk8rboi@gmail.com."

No Money is Easy Money
If someone tells you that you can make easy money using their service with little to no work, don't believe it. Be smart and check reviews on certain people and services before you give anyone your hard earned money.

Verified Merchant SealWhen in Doubt, Play it Safe!
If you have a weird feeling about a certain person or service, chances are that it is a scam. Trust your gut! Don't fall for scammers actions because the deal sounds so good. Especially as a teen, it can be difficult to differentiate certain deals from one another based on your lack of experience. Many online merchants also have a stamp of approval on their profile which can be seen to the right. If you cannot locate one of these stamps, trust your gut and don't pull the trigger on the deal.

There you have it! Before you give anyone money you should do your research, or ask a parent what they think! Often times deals that sound too good to be true, are! Keep these tips in mind and good luck making money online! Comment below with any questions. Cheers to a happy 2015.

How To Buy and Sell Websites to Make $10,000

Buy and Sell Websites to Make $10,000Within the past year I have discovered a surefire way to make yourself a great income online as a young adult. That method? Selling websites. Everyday new people are joining the internet and have a URL that they would like to purchase. If you head over to Flippa you will find websites being listed for between $20-$25,000 and up. Some of those websites are well-established domains that bring in thousands of dollars a month in ad revenue for users. However, some of the cheaper websites are fairly new, they just have a great domain that the user was able to snatch up and is now selling. The concept of buying and selling websites, otherwise known as website flipping is not new, but it has become a very popular trend for internet marketers over the past year. Want to learn how you can make some money in this industry of buying and selling websites? Find out now!

What to Look For When Buying a Website

Traffic- If no one is visiting the website, then why would I buy it? Sites like Google and Wikipedia are worth so much money, because millions of people visit them each day. The same goes for you when your buying or selling a smaller website. More traffic = More $$$

Revenue- While a site may be getting a lot of traffic, if it is not making any money then why would people want to buy it? Make sure when looking at how much a website makes you look at screenshots for as far back as possible. Sites fluctuate with how much they make each month, so while Site A may have made $4000 last May, that does not mean that Site A is making $4000 each month.

Age of the Domain Name- Google LOVES older, more established websites. When looking at ad postings on Flippa, you will notice that one of the first things they display under every listing is "Established:". People want to buy older websites that have been around for awhile and people know about, not websites that were created 1 month ago with 6 indexed pages. You will notice that older websites always go for more money. College students looking to make money online can take advantage of this by creating a handful of websites at the beginning of the year and continuously adding content throughout the year. Then at the end of the school year you have several established websites that you can make an awesome chunk of change off of, provided you have been offering great content and have been doing effective SEO on the sites.

Social Media Accounts- When pricing websites, social media accounts almost always come into play. Your websites should have active accounts with a decent following. Number of Facebook shares, Tweets, Google +1's and other values can help predict how popular a domain is.

What Should I Do With My Websites?

Once you have your websites there are some tricks that you can do to help your website become established which will make you much more money down the road.

Publish a lot of Content- Google loves content. Not just any content, but unique content. If you are coming up with weekly content that readers love, you will rank better on search engines and ultimately get more traffic and more money. This will fetch you a much higher price as you look to sell the website in the future. You cannot just purchase a site and forget about it, there is some work actually involved.

Have a Good Topic- If you have a website that no one wants to read, then you have the wrong topic. Make sure you pick something that you at least have some knowledge in. You do not want to purchase a website about quantum physics and then have no idea what to write about once you have it. Popular niches that have been know to create a lot of money on Flippa are fitness/health related, technology, food and gaming. As a teen or college student this is your chance to shine as you know more about what's popular in pop culture compared with older adults.

Get Natural Backlinks- The more traffic coming into your blog means the better chances that people will link to your website. The more authority websites linking to yours looks better to Google and search engines. Don't be fooled by BlackHat methods of collecting links. Solid DoFollow backlinks take time to build and there is NO method that will get you on the first page of Google in a week. Don't get discouraged, if you continue to produce quality content people WILL link to it and you will get natural links.

Dont be Afraid to Sell- If after 10 months of having a website you purchased for $100 you get an offer for $5000, don't be afraid to sell the website! Unless you are surely confident that you can fetch more at a later date, take the money when it is there. I had a friend who was offered $12,500 for a Fitness-Niche blog he created, however he did not accept it. A few months later he sold the site for $8000...a $4500 loss!

How Much Should I Buy/Sell My Website For?

When selling your website on Flippa, you should figure out the current value of the site. A simple way to determine this is to do a simple Google search for "how much is my website worth." There are numerous sites that can predict the value of your website based on different data analytics. However, be careful because many of these services often give you a range of values so it's best to read some reviews before you stick with a number. A great website that offers you an estimate is www.siteworthit.com. Another great way to determine how much the site should be worth is to compare it to other sites in a similar niche. That way you can get an idea of what past similar sites have gone for and how much you can expect to be making in the upcoming transaction or how much you should be prepared to spend when buying in.

I hope that I have provided you with enough information to help you as you begin the process of buying and selling websites. As always, comment below if you have any questions and thanks for reading!

How to Build DoFollow Backlinks in 2015

For those of you who are new to blogging and making money online, chances are you haven’t really received proper information on the term “backlink.” A backlink is a link from another website that links back to yours. In the eyes of Google, when your website is linked from a popular website, chances are that your website is reputable and should be ranked high in the search engines. Google recognizes both “dofollow” and “nofollow” backlinks. While nofollow links do help increase traffic, they are not followed by search engine bots and do not improve your search engine rankings. Dofollow links on the other hand are followed by search engine robots and help to increase your search engine presence.

In the past it was entirely possible to comment on a few blogs, add your site to some directories, submit a couple articles and just like that you’re on the first page for your keyword, as is shown on my previous post, how to get backlinks. This has since changed as spammers were able to create micro-niche websites, rank them quickly, load up their websites with Adsense and affiliate links and make a lot of money very quickly. Google now likes authority websites, who come out with unique content and are updated regularly.

As 2015 has rolled around, it is now harder than ever to get good search engine presence due to the constant Google alogrothim updates that are always coming out, like Panda and most recently, Penguin. These updates have made it harder for smaller websites to rank well for their keywords, especially if the website is newer. This can be difficult on teens, because if you find your website is not ranked in the top few pages for your keyword after a few months, chances are that you will give up rather than keep working to improve your website.

Don’t give up though! It is still possible to rank well on Google and other search engines, as long as your know where to look for those much-admired “dofollow” links. Here are 6 real places to get links, that are legitimate and approved for increased optimization on Google.

Create a google+ profile and link your website with anchored text. This social bookmarking website is an amazing resource and Google attributes the link in your profile as dofollow increasing your search engine presence. However, make sure that you add your website as a link and not as a contributor as Google will recognize a contributor link as nofollow! Check out my dofollow link at Google+ in the image to the right!

Google places is a highly effective place to build yourself a powerful backlink. This is a very good source that is devoid of nofollow links, which will help boost your search engine rankings.

While article marketing is no longer the beast that it used to be and is a bit outdated, it has still worked for me in increasing my Google ranking. Thanks to a recent update in Google’s algorithm, sites like Ezine Articles no longer have as much power as they used to. However, I have personally still have had a lot of success with them as every time I submit a new article with my anchor text in the “About Me” section, my website increases on Google almost simultaneously. It still remains a great place to pick up an extra link for yourself.

Stumbleupon has steadily been growing in popularity and is an amazing place to pick up some extra backlinks as well as traffic for your website. All links that you submit are followed.

Article Directories
While article directories are no longer the powerhouses that they once were, there are still some high PR ones out there that offer your website a dofollow link. Here are some that I suggest you check out and submit your website to:

Comment On DoFollow Blogs
Commenting on high PR dofollow blogs is a great way to build backlinks for your website. As it is harder to find websites that allow dofollow comments in 2014 than it used to be, it can be difficult to find useful blogs to comment on. However, thanks to our friends over at ClickMinded, they have put together a massive list of 1000 "dofollow" commentluv blogs. Start commenting today!

Building links in today’s day and age, especially as an unexperienced teen is not an easy task and does take a lot of time to do so be patient! If you find that your website is not ranked where you want it to be, don’t give up! If you utilize the above methods you will find yourself with some high PR dofollow backlinks, which will definitely help boost your website in the SERPs. Have an idea that I didn’t discuss? Comment below with your idea to gain a dofollow backlink!

Get 1,000 Visitors a Day: Content is King In SEO

Chances are as a teen looking to make money online you have attempted to make a blog/website at some time or another. While it is undeniable that you will most likely need to make a blog to aid in your money making efforts, getting people to read that blog can be near impossible if you are a beginner. Back in the day all you would have to do was cram your website full of keywords and submit your blog to search engines. Over time, those keywords would be recognized by search engines and your blog would rank well on google for your niche.

However, times have changed and many respectable businesses are on the internet who actually offer great content on their websites. For a beginner it can be pretty hard to compete with these websites for the search engine ranks and in order to do so you need to provide readers with a reason to come back.

Current 2014 SEO (search engine optimization) experts are placing more emphasis on your websites content than ever before and are saying "content is king." This is certainly true and it's a websites content that attracts readers, not how many keywords are packed on a page. Your website should be full of content that is error free and informative, so that readers have a desire to come back and learn more (google recognizes this).

You need to update your blog regularly (at least once a week), which will cause your readers to come back as long as they are intrigued by what you are posting. Google also prefers websites that are updated often over those that come out with a new post every few months. Offer something of substance, that is unique and useful to readers and I guarantee that your blogs traffic will double in no time and you will see yourself getting upwards of 1,000 unique visitors each day. Produce quality content, different than any other website offers and you will be successful.

So when you are creating your next blog or website keep in mind the importance of the content that you are offering your readers. You want visitors that want to read what you have to offer and want to continue coming back in the future. If you can do this, you will make money online and you will make more than you ever could by putting minimal effort into your posts. Good luck!

5 Tips to Use YouTube to Drive Traffic to Your Website

Get Traffic With YoutubeYouTube has established itself as one of the most popular websites in the world since its introduction in 2005. Ranking in at number 3 according to the Alexa Top 500 Global Sites, YouTube receives millions of unique visitors every single day. People watch a staggering 2 billion videos each day and according to YouTube, 24 hours of video is uploaded to the video website every minute. These statistics are absolutely incredible and YouTube has limitless potential in terms of generating traffic to your website or blog.

YouTube is no longer used by kids who are solely looking to watch a funny cat video or various sports highlights. It now serves as a great resource filled with thousands of hours of informational videos. YouTube not only functions as an amazing way to generate ad revenue from people directly watching your videos, but also as a great way to generate traffic to your blog or website. Here are 5 helpful hints to use when you are looking to use YouTube to drive traffic to your blog or website.

1.) Create a High Quality Video
Possibly the most important step in using YouTube to drive traffic to your blog is to create a great video. You don’t need a high budget to create a great video, rather a plan of action, knowledge on your topic and some sort of video editing software. Examples of different kinds or effective videos are DIY (do it yourself) or top 10 list videos. These will encourage people to not only click on your video, but also watch the video in its entirety. Nothing is worse than having someone click on your video only to exit out after 10 seconds due to boredom.

2.) Link in the Video Description
This one seems pretty obvious, but I see people forget to add their URL in their video description more often than not. If you make a popular video, why miss out on potential targeted traffic by forgetting to add a silly thing like your website’s URL? Make sure you add it to the beginning of the video description as it will be the first thing that stands out to the viewer. Also make sure you include some information on your video and be descriptive. You want to make sure you do this, because the more YouTube knows about your video, the more confidently it can rank it for a specific keyword.

3.) Get Traffic to Your Video
If you spend hours in creating an informational video only to receive no traffic to it, you’ll be pretty disappointed in your efforts. Unless you already have a solid subscriber base, you will need to promote your video in order to get some traffic to it. Just like search engine optimization for a website, you can use the same methods to promote your video. This includes adding good tags and keywords to your video description, posting it to social sites like Facebook/Twitter/Google+/etc, or sending your new video out to a mailing list. You can also post your video, granted it is helpful, to online communities like LinkedIn or Ouora. Getting targeted traffic from online communities will also help your video and ultimately your website rank better on search engines.  If you can generate solid traffic to your well-made video and then tell viewers to click on your link to your website, more often than not they will.  This leads us to our next tip.

4.) Tell Them to Click Your Link!
What’s the point of creating a video, putting your link in the description and then not taking the time to tell the viewers that you want them to view your website? Put emphasis on the fact that there is a link to your website in the description and you want them to click on it. If you can create a high-quality, informational video that people want to watch, chances are that your website contains a ton more material that the viewer may be looking for. You can also encourage your viewers to like and subscribe to your video and channel so they will be informed when you come out with additional videos in the future.

5.) Put Your Website URL in Your Actual Video
When using simple video editing software, you should always put your websites URL into the actual video if your main goal is to generate traffic. You should remember that often times videos are shared and embedded onto different websites. This means that your link is being shared and viewed all over the internet and not just on YouTube. Maybe add it as a watermark in the corner of the video, so as not to obstruct the viewers view, but so that they know that it is there. This will also help prevent others from stealing your video and taking credit for it.

There you have it. Make sure you apply all 5 ideas from above when using YouTube to generate traffic to your blog. As a teen it can seen overwhelming when trying to get traffic to your blog, yet these simple, yet effective tips can work wonders for you and your website and help you produce more traffic then you have ever received before creating YouTube videos.

How to Increase Your Google Ranking in 9 Steps

Finding ways to increase your traffic ranking to make money online can often be quite the daunting task for adults, let alone teens. Many people struggle and spend countless hours wasted with little to no results. Don't give up too fast though, there are many guides and tips out there that can help you in your journey to rank higher on those pesky search engines.

In this quick guide I am about to present to you, you will find some basic, yet incredibly useful tips that you will greatly benefit from.

1.) Have a targeted domain name
Having a good domain name will not only add to your websites credibility, but if it has a popular keyword in it, then chances are that google bots will pick it up and you will index faster and to the top pages.

2.) Include Keywords in the Title of Articles
As long as you are writing for search engines then putting relevant keywords in your article titles will be very useful. Just make sure that you make your titles are catchy and something that a person would be willing to click on.

3.)Write Your Keywords in Bold/Italics
While I personally do not use this method, I have seen a lot of websites with this tactic implemented and apparently the results are staggering. It is usually most beneficial to include this syntax in the first paragraph of a post when people just begin to read it. Just make sure you don't go overboard and bold a keyword every time you use it.

4.) Write High Quality Content
I cannot stress enough the importance of writing unique, well-crafted content. If you want to increase your page rank then you need to write impressive material that people want to share and read.

5.) Keep Updating
Google and other search engines like websites that are updated regularly and have interesting content. So don't be expecting to write one article, come back a year later and be on the first page of google for your niche. Aim to write at least one article a week.

6.) Participate in Forums and Other Blogs
Backlinks! Backlinks! Backlinks! I have mentioned this in several of my other posts but I want to make a note again of the importance of backlinks. Google loves forums and blogs with a high PR and there are many out there that are do-follow and allow you to leave your website as a backlink in the comments section. Just make sure you leave informational comments and don't spam. Heres a few great blogs that you can get started on:

7.) Create Multiple Pages
By having more than one page on your website/blog, this will strengthen your internal ranking and google will rank you higher.

8.) Social Bookmarking
It seems like every month the newest social media hit is coming out. Instead of looking past these opportunities use them for your benefit. Not only will you receive direct traffic from these websites, but you will also receive a high quality back link. Heres a list of the most popular ones:

  • Facebook
  • Google+
  • Digg
  • Squidoo
  • Hub Pages
  • Stumble Upon
9.) Target Niche Keywords with Low Competition
I can tell you right now that unless you are a killer writer and know how to use SEO like a professional then you wont be making it to the first page of google for the keyword "money" anytime soon. If you haven't already, check Google Adwords to see how popular certain keywords are.

There you have it, chances are you aren't a big company with paid professionals to do the dirty work for you. However, if you work at it, spend some time each week developing your website and its' keywords, then you will be on the first page of google before you know it. Having a high ranking website when you're trying to make money online as a teen can be the difference between succeeding and wasting your time. Good luck!

Know Your Audience When Writing

A common misconception I have seen from people who begin writing blogs to make money online is that they often do not know their audience. They randomly throw out posts about how they make a ton of money online, with no proof to back it up as well as writing towards no one in particular. I have mentioned in past posts that a lot of people, kids and teens especially, make their first blog about "cashcrate" or "swag bucks." While this may seem like a good idea at the time, I can guarantee you that there are few people looking up cashcrate on google. Search "cashcrate" on google and these are the results on the first page.
Click on cashcratetips.us, and you will find that the person in charge of the blog has received a check for $30 last month.... Theres days when I make well over $30 on cashcrate alone...I think this goes to show you that there is no market for the term cashcrate and making money online.

You're not out of luck though! Take this blog for example. Teens and how to make money online. Theres my niche. I myself am a teen, and I try to write these posts in hopes that I am helping my fellow teen friends out. Other good audiences could be...stay at home moms, college students, money for video games, the list goes on. Just pick something that you yourself are and you'll be well on your way to knowing who your audience is and how to approach them.

Knowing who your audience means that you can learn and adapt from what your viewers want to see/read. For example, if your audience wants more information on anchored backlinks, then you should be able to give them more articles on anchored backlinks. I personally know that the majority of people reading this are teenagers so I try to cater to your needs, how to make money online as a teen. To get started I suggest you do some research on what blogs are already out there, and what blogs aren't. If you notice that theres a lack of blogs related to "moms making money online" then nows your golden chance to get your foot in the door. Good luck and if you've got any questions post em below and check out some of my older posts!

How To Get Referrals to Paid Online Survey Sites

Article Marketing Works

How to get traffic to your website? That is the common question that has plagued many internet marketers for years. Some websites magically get thousands of visitors a day while others struggle to get 5, let alone 1000. There are many services you can pay to use that will send related traffic to your website, but that usually costs a good amount of money, money that I don’t have. See, you’re probably like me, broke and looking to find the most bang for your buck with the smallest amount of effort. However, with today’s internet there are nerds that are working crazy amounts of hours on SEO to better get a website seen. Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that much time to work on making money online. If only there was a way to get traffic without that much time or exertion…

I can tell you though with certainty that one of the best methods to gain backlinks and traffic to your website remains to be article marketing. It relatively takes a small amount of your effort and best of all it’s free. Submitting articles is a proven method of advertising, which builds the credibility, brand, search engine ranking, traffic, and long-term growth and stability of your business. Now sure it may be boring and a little repetitive, but even if you submit 2 unique articles a week to ezinearticles or goarticles, then that’s only about an hour a week. If those articles are well written and have good keywords then there are two articles that have a high possibility of being on page 1 of google for those keywords. That means more traffic for you.

By linking your websites URL in the authors box, you are gaining a backlink from that link and traffic from those who click on it. The more high quality backlinks you have coming to your site from other sites will determine how relevant your site is to search engines and people. It’s a win-win situation.

A great ebook that describes how you can utilize article marketing to its highest potential is The Tireless Traffic Technique. It is fairly inexpensive and gave me a lot of good insight into a topic that I knew little about. Read it, continue to educate yourself and make some money.

Educate Yourself on How to Make Money Online

Most of you probably always wonder to yourselves how some people make thousands and thousands of dollars on referral sites like Cashcrate. You think, “How in the heck is that possible when some the highest paying offer is only about $10? I’m not going to sit home all day and fill out $.50 offers that take 20 minutes each. Talk about a waste of time!” Trust me, you’re out of your mind if you think that you can sit around and fill out those little offers all day.

However, you have to look at the entire website from a different angle. Why waste your time filling out little surveys when you can refer other members, have them fill out the surveys and then get paid a commission for their work? Its simple, have your money and time work for you, not the other way around. I did the dirty work when I first joined the PTC websites. I was uneducated and all I cared about was making money even if that meant putting in hours of work. As I looked around the websites I was shocked when I saw that some of the elder members were receiving checks for $2000 a month. I thought to myself, no way someone can be making that much filling out surveys. I did some research, broadened my intelligence on the website and learned that earning referrals was where the real money was at.

So I did what any newbie would do, I made a blogger, posted Cashcrates FAQ and thought the money would be rolling in. However, when it wasn’t, I was angry and just wanted to quit the whole operation. I knew that I was not going to be making any money if I continued doing what I was doing, because every other idiot was doing the same thing that I was. I had no proof of payments, no information on how to actually make money, and worst of all no originality.

When I finally realized how stupid I was for thinking that the spam of a blog was going to actually make money I went to google and did some research. I found out that the formula to getting referrals is quite simple, BUT takes a good amount of work.

Make a website (or a blog/webs account), post unique/well-written content that readers will want to read, and spend your time increasing your PR by getting backlinks. I have been told in the past that the key to having a lot of traffic on your website is to spend 20% of your time writing content and 80% getting backlinks.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about then go back to my first posts and start reading. I promise you that you will learn a lot about this business and your time spent will be worth it in the long run. It really isn’t that hard to make money online as a teen, just be smart, don’t give up and don’t get rattled if you had a bad month. Keep at it and you will be making money in no time.

Keywords ARE Key

When most teens start a blog for paid online surveys they focus on the word "cashcrate" or "fusion cash". They start a dull blog with weak posts and pray that their blog will start to get some good traffic.
I am telling you now that you should not focus on cashcrate when starting a blog. The key to getting a lot of referrals if getting good page rank on google for unique keywords. People who search the term "cashcrate" on google obviously already know about it and are just looking for some more information on it.

If you want to make money with paid online survey sites you must, and I mean you must target people who have never heard of Cashcrate in their lives. Got it?

There are hundreds, heck maybe even thousands of other people like you starting a blog for their paid online survey site and they are all probably focused on some stupid term like cashcrate. The real traffic comes from people who are looking for ways to make money online and have no idea about sites like cashcrate.

Here are a couple good areas you should focus on when starting a blog:

College Students
Teens (like this blog)
Stay at home moms
Make money from home
Paid online surveys for money

Everyday people like this are looking for ways to make some extra money online. Tons more people are searching for example, "ways for teens to make money online" and "ways to make money money online" than "cashcrate". No one searches that word! Want some proof? Paid Online Surveys for Money made a valid point.

The Broke Grad student has the third position on google for the term "cashcrate" and it has been like that for quite a while now. All he has gotten out of it is $594.70. Now you may think that that is a lot, but considering that there are probably thousands of blogs focused on cashcrate and this guy is third on google and he has not even made that much. How much do you actually think your "cashcrate" blog will make? Believe me, none.

So when you start your paid online survey site blog focus on something unique, and over time you will start earning some killer traffic!

Blogging is The Key to Getting Referrals

Most of the time when people hear about paid online survey sites, they may either try it out for a couple minutes and then quit, or don't even try it out at all. Don't be like those people. If you are serious about making a lot of money on survey sites, like me, then stop being lazy and get to work. Heres a question for you, would you rather work for $8 an hour as a boring waiter, or would you rather have other people work for you and make thousands of dollars a month? If you are a normal person, then I am pretty sure that you picked choice B.

When individuals sign up for sites like CashCrate they go in thinking that they are about to make a couple hundred dollars with minimal work (I know I did). Once they realize that they are not about to make a lot of money by doing offers, they resort to the referral programs. They slap up a crappy, plagarized blog in 5 minutes and expect the referrals to start pouring in. LOL. Trust me, I was once an internet noob and I thought the exact same thing as you.

Once they wait a couple weeks and realize that their blog is not getting any traffic, they abandon that idea and head over to get paid to forums. They read about all the people who are making $20 a month and are ecstatic. If I make less than $20 A DAY then I am pretty ticked off. Once they read all of the terrible tips on the forum, they may join and add their referral link to their signature with some retarted saying like, "Join under me, and we can make money together!" Or "Click my link and I will show you how to make hundreds of dollars!!" Most of these people have probably never even gotten a referral and are flat out stupid when it comes to internet marketing. Some forums can get you a couple referrals, but not get paid to forums. Everyone on these forums is already signed up for these programs, so what would be the point in trying to refer them? Exactly, there is no point and it is a complete waste of time.

Then, once the typical teen realizes that the get paid to forums are not getting them any referrals they may start posting some ads in the online classifieds. Now I have used this method in the past and have had very limited success with it. They slap up a couple awful ads, with their referral link at the bottom, and say, "Sign up under me!" Do you honestly think that you are going to get a lot of referrals this way? No way! Now you may get a couple, but not nearly the amount that you could be getting.

DO NOT be like one of those people that abandon their blog after they do not get any referrals in the first couple of weeks. Write original content that offers unique help, and start getting some anchored backlinks. Spend a couple hours each week submitting your blog to directories, getting link exchanges, and writing articles. Over time, your blog will have develop a good page rank and you will be in the top of the search engines for your selected keywords. Blogs ARE the key to getting a lot of referrals and making tons of money on paid online survey sites like cashcrate. Keep at it, and don't be lazy!

How to Get Backlinks

When most people join cashcrate or any other paid survey site they head right over to the forums to see how they can make more money. 100% of the members there say "hey, if you want some referrals you have to make a blog!" So thats what they do, they set out to blogger or word
press and make a blog hoping that it will bring them in referrals. 3 days later they may check back to see if they got any only to see that no one signed up under them. What went wrong?

99% of teens who join paid survey sites quit after they don't make enough money. So if you are a lazy person who does not want to work to make hunderds of dollars a month on survey sites, then this post is not for you. Gathering referrals takes a lot of time and effort so get ready to work. Paid Online Surveys For Money says that 80% of your time should be spent getting anchored backlinks to your blog while 20% should be spent creating content. The key to getting referrals is backlinks. You want your blog or site to come up on search engines in as many keywords as possible. What exactly is an anchored backlink? ESPN, right there.

Getting backlinks to your blog can be very boring and tedious work. You want as many one way anchored backlinks to your site as possible and try not to do link exchanges. When you do link exchanges most of the time you're just exchanging with another weak cashcrate blog who has awful if not any page rank on search engines. Also, in link exchanges all your really doing is sending google back and forth between the two pages which has no real benefit. However, if you can exchange links with a reputable site that has good page rank then that could become beneficial to you.

Now, what you want to get is one way anchored backlinks. This is the hard part. If you want to do link exchanges with another site, then the best way to do that is in a 3-way exchange. This way you're not sending google back and forth and the links have some quality. Here is an example.

John links to Mike

Mike links to Eric

Eric links back to John

The more blogs and site in which you have the easier that this is. And believe me, it can become rather hard to attain 3-way link exchanges so most people take the easier, more demanding path (weird, huh?)

1.) You need to comment on other, well-known blogs that share the same key words as yours. Use your blog and anchor text as the name. For example, Teens Make Money Online.....comment...

2.) Create another blog and link back to yours.

3.) Create a hubpage about making money online and link back to yours. Make sure your hubscore is above 75 though or the links will not be do-follow. You can achieve this by writing original content.

4.) Write an article on Associated Content and link back to your site with an anchored backlink.

5.) Create a Squidoo lens and link back to your blog.

6.) Add your blog to directories which can gain you backlinks.

Avoid link farms. A link farm has thousands of outgoing links, pointing to all kind of sites. Although they may sound great, google looks at them as a bad thing and they may actually hurt your seo.

Another way to get backlinks is to join forums and use your backlink in your signature. However, make sure that you are allowed to promote in your signature. You wouldn't want to get banned. Be an active part of the community and add valuable posts with your backlink in the signature.

Overall, this is how I, a 16 year old teen have been making hundreds of dollars with paid online survey sites each month. You have to work at it, and don't give up if you havent gotten a lot of referrals after the first few months. Given time, your site will gain good page rank and you will make LOADS with paid online surveys referral progams.
