Most of the time when a teen joins a paid survey site to make money online they try out a couple offers and think, "Boy, I'm not making nearly enough!" Thats because there is no program on the internet that just generates you automatic income. If there was, then everyone in the world would be loaded. Getting referrals out of paid online survey sites takes time and there is not one method that instanly gets you 10,000 referrals.This blog, Teens Make Money Online, has only been around since July 18. It's now August 21 and I'm not getting many referrals out of it yet. Thats because it takes time for sites to develop, get picked up by search engines and get good page rank. However, if I keep at the rate I'm currently going, this blog will be on the first page of google in no time.
I know someone (also a 17 year old) that made a paid online survey site blog promoting his links. After 6 months he was still writing spectacular articles but was not getting any referrals. He didn't give up though, he continued to write well and get anchored backlinks. His blog is now on the first page of google and he makes thousands of dollars each month alone off of his one blog. This shows that just because you don't make a lot of money at first, doesn't mean that you will never make a lot of money.
For this reason many teens often quit after the first day of joining paid online survey sites. Just because you don't make $400 in your first hour doesn't mean that it doesn't work. When I signed up for Cashcrate I stopped after the first week. But then my friend told me he got a $650 check in the mail from them, so I got off of my butt and went back to CashCrate. I didn't give up, and now I am making $400 checks from them each month.
Paid online survey sites are like having a real job. Don't expect to work an hour a week and get big checks. You earn how much you put in. If you make a great blog and work to get anchored backlinks then you will earn a lot as long as you use don't use bad keywords.
Overall, if you work hard and don't give up you could be making a lot on sites like CashCrate as a teen. Just think of it as a part-time job and work on it for a little bit each day. Trust me, in the long run you will be thanking yourself!
